How do you know if your weave is 100% human hair? ›

Take a small piece of the hair product and burn it. Human hair will turn into ashes and have a smell similar to burning feathers or barbecue. On the contrary, if the product contains synthetic fibers, it will melt into solid form and come out with a strong chemical smell.

TYPES OF NATURAL HAIR

Wash your Indian hair weave regularly, but not too often. Aim for once every 1-2 weeks, depending on how often you wear it. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to avoid stripping the hair of its natural oils.
