Mark Crandall

Founder & Board Chairman

Mr. Mark Crandall co-founded Morgan Stanley's commodity trading business in 1984. Subsequently he was the head of Glencore’s oil trading business, and then was a founder of Trafigura which has now become one of the largest physical commodity traders in the world with over €100 billion in revenues.
Upon leaving Trafigura in 2005, Mr. Crandall started investing his own personal funds in renewable energy development through PostScriptum Ventures.
In 2007 he officially formed CWP where he currently serves as the Chairman and Member of the Executive Board.

Alex Hewitt

Founder & CEO

Alex is a founding partner of CWP. Engineer by degree, entrepreneur, and keen surfer. With over three decades of experience built from spectacular successes across five continents and the odd humiliating failure, he has developed and financed over 2,000MW of wind energy projects in Europe and Australia since 2005.

During his long career, Alex has been involved in the delivery of major power and water infrastructure across Asia, Australia, Europe , and Africa. He is now focussed on the development of CWP’s massive green hydrogen projects across the globe.

Dimitar Enchev

Founder & Board Director

Dimitar graduated from Swarthmore College (USA) and the London School of Economics and has over 12 years of experience investing in renewable energy.
Dimitar startedhiscareer at PostScriptum Ventures, a London-based private equity fund focused on sustainability investments.AtPostScriptum, Dimitar wasinvolved in various investments in the PV, biomass and wind sectors, including the largest biomass power project in theworld and the founding of CWP. In 2009 he joinedCWP full-time,where he eventually served as Director, and was involved in the successfuldevelopmentand financing of a number of large-scale wind farms including the largest wind farm in Europe – the €1.1 billion Fantanele project. Currently Dimitar is a Managing Partner at PostScriptum Ventures and serves as a Board Member of CWP.

Fabrizio Cagnasso

Founder & Board Director

Fabrizio is a tax and corporate adviser based in the Principality of Monaco with fifteen years of experience in company management, sitting as a director on the boards of international companies active in diverse industries. He has managed his own firm since 1992 and was a founding partner of CWP where he is now responsible for managing financial aspects of the business and for dealing with tax, legal and compliance issues.

Alex Sekulovic

Chief Operating and Financial Officer, CWP Europe

Alex is Chief Operating and Financial Officer for CWP Europe. He has more than 20 years of international business experience most of which within the renewable energy sector.
Most recently Alex was GM for GE Onshore Wind EMEA projects segment providing operational leadership for 7GWs of onshore wind installations during the period of 4 years, covering project management, proposals & projects procurement, logistics, turnkey solutions, installation & commissioning.
In addition, Alex was a managing director of GE Wind Energy GmbH Salzbergen entity with over 1000 Employees. Prior to that he was a CFO for GE Onshore Wind EMEA business driving profitable growth in the region.
Prior to Onshore Wind, Alex worked in GE finance leadership roles within Power Generation industry in Netherlands and Italy.
Alex is a graduate from two leadership programs within his former company GE, the Financial Management Program (FMP) and GE Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) during which time he worked in UK, Germany, Netherlands, US, South and Latin America. He holds MBA from NIMBAS Graduate School of Management.
Alex and his wife Carlijn have one daughter and two sons and live in the Netherlands. He enjoys spending time with his family and likes running, skiing and art.

Andreas von Bobart

Head of Asset Management, CWP Europe

Andreas is a senior executive with more than 25 years of sales, project management and leadership experience in the renewable energy sector and in industrial companies.
After graduating from the Bochum University of Applied Sciences in Process Engineering in 1992 he started his career as project engineer for SIEMENS AG. Andreas continued working as project manager for industrial power plants before he joined the wind business of General Electric in 2000. In 2003 he completed his executive MBA in Controlling and Accounting at Muenster University.
Since his entry into the renewables industry Andreas has held C-Level and Managing Director positions for GE Wind Energy, SSB, KENERSYS Europe and Prowind. As a business leader Andreas has led sales, project management and service teams across Europe, MENAT and North America. Over the last five years he served as managing director for a project developer where he set up an asset management structure before starting up a solar development company.
In his spare time, he enjoys paragliding, riding his motor bike, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Andreja Čamber

Head of Procurement, CWP Europe

Andreja has joined CWP in September 2021, with more than 13 years of experience in construction and renewables business. Prior to his current role, Andreja was working for General Electric, as Senior Project Director, leading a team, in charge of building the large-scale Wind Farms, in various countries including Serbia, Israel, Lithuania, Montenegro, Jordan, Spain… He has significant experience in execution of Full Turnkey (EPC) contracts. Before that, he worked for construction companies, Austrian PORR and Slovenian SCT on major construction projects, including building of Ada Bridge (2008-2012), which became landmark of Belgrade, Serbian capital. Andreja holds a Master degree in Structural/Construction Engineering from the University of Belgrade‘s Faculty of Civil Engineering.
He is a husband and a father of two highly interesting kids, future game programmer and a painter. Outside of work, Andreja likes to spend time with his family and friends, enjoys the music and basketball.

Andrew Dickson

Development Director

Andrew Dickson has been a renewable energy project developer since 2004, working on wind, solar PV, solar thermal, microgrid and hydrogen projects in South Australia, Queensland, the ACT and Western Australia. He has been a core development team member for the Australian Renewable Energy Hub (a large “Power to X” (wind/solar/hydrogen/ammonia) project in northwest Australia) since 2018, and as Development Director is also contributing to CWP Global’s other “Power to X” projects in Australia, Africa and South America.
He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Science and Technology Commercialisation from the University of Adelaide.
Outside of work, Andrew is passionate about sustainability in many forms: transport, housing, energy, water, food production and community sufficiency.

Audrey Hackett

ESG Director

Audrey leads the ESG function across CWP Global and CWP Europe and brings over 15 years of sustainability-related experience across a broad range of issues including human rights, health and safety, ethics and compliance, stakeholder engagement, environmental stewardship, and strategic planning. Audrey is a passionate risk management advocate who believes that strong governance is the key to ensuring effective resource allocation and maximising efficiency across the organisation.

To support a personal transition from the mining sector to renewable energy, Audrey completed an MSc in Energy Policy at the Science Policy Research Unit of the University of Sussex (UK) during which she developed a keen interest in the concept of environmental and, more specifically, energy justice. Her vision is to differentiate the company on environmental stewardship, social performance and governance such that it becomes the global developer of choice.

Charles Haworth

Chief Operating and Financial Officer, CWP Hydrogen

Charles Haworth is the Chief Operating and Financial Officer for H1 Energy, a division of CWP Global.

Charles has a wide range of international expatriate business experience working in the energy industry since 2006. This includes roles in Onshore Wind, Offshore Wind, Hybrid Renewables, Gas Turbines, Services, Nuclear Energy and Reciprocating Engines. As a business leader, Charles has led teams across a multiple-B$ portfolio. He is committed to delivering innovative solutions to support the global energy transition.
Charles is a graduate of two leadership programs within his previous company GE, the Commercial Leadership Program and the Accelerated Leadership Program and holds a PhD in Laser Physics and an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London, UK.
In his spare time, he enjoys sports (martial arts, climbing, running and board sports) and writing articles on leadership, technology, investing and sustainability.

Dean Bialek

Chief Officer, External Affairs & Government Relations

Dean Bialek is a leading international lawyer, diplomat and expert on energy, climate change and sustainable development.
Dean took up his role with CWP in late 2021, and now leads the company’s engagement with external stakeholders on the policy, diplomatic and development finance aspects of the company’s portfolio of green hydrogen hubs.
He recently relocated with his family from Australia, where he worked on the flagship 26GW Australian Renewable Energy Hub (AREH) project, to a new base in Spain to focus more intently on projects in North Africa and the emerging green hydrogen market in Europe.
Before his work with CWP, Dean was lead political advisor to the UN High-Level Champion for Climate Action, Nigel Topping, on preparations for COP26 in Glasgow and the UN ‘Race to Zero’ campaign. Prior to that, he worked as a Principal Advisor to former UN climate chief, Christiana Figueres, and her Mission 2020 campaign.
Earlier on, Dean worked for six years as an Australian diplomat, including representing his country at the United Nations in New York. He then worked as a lead negotiator and legal advisor to the world’s island states (AOSIS) in the six years of talks that led to the adoption of the 2015 Paris Agreement. He helped to draft many of the Agreement’s key provisions.
Dean has a PhD (International law) from the University of Melbourne, and a Master of Laws (Environmental Law) from the University of London (LSE / SOAS).

Fernando Begher

Development Manager South America

Fernando Begher is Development Manager for Ptx Projects in the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay). Fernando has the task to find and secure the very best sites for Ptx activity in the region, manage the local teams and coordinate their activities with the corporate headquarters. He is also responsible for relations with Private and Public entities. He has attended Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and USAL for Business Administration.

Outside of work, Fernando enjoys Music production and Travelling with his family, especially where long Road Trips involve Mountains and Lakes scenery.

Gordan Pejić

Market Development Director

Gordan is a versatile professional with over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, ranging from energy trading (day ahead and intraday) and project development to the sale of wind turbine generators.
Throughout his various work engagements, Gordan has successfully developed and opened markets in Ukraine, Kosovo, and Kazakhstan for GE. He served as a dedicated business developer, creating the necessary conditions for the sale and execution of wind projects. His finance background proved invaluable in facilitating engagement and coordination with U.S. and European financing institutions such as DFC (OPIC), ECA, and others.
During his leisure time, Gordan finds relaxation in his music studio, indulges in motorcycle rides, and trains his dog Eliska.

Guido Schumacher

Chief Technology Officer

Guido is a highly professional business executive in the Renewable Energy sector with 26 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations and Business Leadership. He structured and negotiated wind-turbine contracts in over 30 countries and closed transactions worth over $16B, many of them with global energy companies like Iberdrola, EDF, EDPR, E-ON, Engie, ERG, Total, CEZ and ENI.

Between March 2003 and September 2020, Guido led the Commercial Operations team of GE Onshore Wind for various regions including Europe, CIS, Middle East, Africa and Asia, holding responsibility for tender preparation, risk management, terms and conditions, pricing and deal strategy. In 2011 he became a member of the Executive Management team and since February 2018 he served as Managing Director of GE Wind Energy GmbH, GE Renewables’ German operating entity with over 1.000 employees.

Prior to GE, Guido held various commercial positions at Enron Wind, WindWorld and Tacke Windtechnik, where he started his professional career in April 1994 after graduating from the Munich University of Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering.

When he is not negotiating deals, Guido enjoys skiing, cycling and cooking.

Jovana Rubezic

General Counsel, CWP Europe

Jovana graduated from Cambridge University with a First in her LL.M. degree, after simultaneously completing two bachelor’s degrees – a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a BA in English Philology.
She is qualified as attorney-at-law, and prior to joining us, she gained several years of experience at the M&A department of a top-notch law firm.
Jovana started at CWP in 2022, as Counsel, from which position she rapidly grew into her current role of General Counsel of CWP Europe. Her responsibilities involve managing M&A transactions, evaluating legal risks,co-ordinating contracts in connection with the projects of the group, as well as dealing with corporate matters.
Outside work, Jovana enjoys skiing, playing tennis or having a good conversation.

Jovanka Atanacković

Country Manager Serbia

Jovanka joined CWP team as Head of Permitting in December 2022. She holds a Master of Law degree from the University in Belgrade. She holds the title of overall winner of the oratory competition in 1998 at the Faculty of Law, during her fourth year of study.

Prior to her current role, she worked in the field of law for more than 20 years, starting her career as a Deputy of Public Prosecutor and since July 2015 she held positions as assistant Minister in the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure and as State Secretary in the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia.

In the course of her work experience, she participated in numerous legislative activities, especially in the field of company law, planning and construction, special law for the construction of linear infrastructure facilities of special importance for the Republic of Serbia, laws in the field of energy, mining, and geological research, etc. She participated in the reform of regulations in the field of energy by leading the drafting of the first special Law on Renewable Energy Sources, which became part of the legal system of Serbia in April 2021, and which created the basis for the energy transition in Serbia. This law was given the status of the state of the art in this area by the Energy Community.

In February 2022, Jovanka received a Special Award from NALED for her outstanding contribution to the improvement of the legal framework in the field of energy and the creation of conditions for greater investments in renewable energy sources.

Outside the office, Jovanka spends her free time in nature, listening to the waves of the Danube, watching the most beautiful sunset at the Ram Fortress and training Nordic walking.

Dr. Jürg Gassmann

External Counsel

Jürg joined the group as general counsel in 2009 and has been co-ordinating the internal and external contracts in connection with the projects of the group, as well as dealing with corporate matters.

He is qualified as attorney-at-law in Switzerland and England, and has over thirty years experience in all aspects of a project, having worked for a bank, a venture capital boutique, as international lawyer for Black & Veatch, in private practice with Freshfields in London, and as outside in-house counsel for several family offices. Having initially dealt with large-scale traditional coal- and gas-fired power generation, his focus for the last 20 years has been on renewable energy, sustainability and resource recovery technologies. A Swiss national, he is multilingual and has lived and worked in Pakistan, Switzerland, Japan, the US, Hong Kong, the UK, and Ireland.

Kieran Coleman

Development Director

Kieran is an experienced energy systems analyst, entrepreneur, and change leader with experience in renewable energy business models, finance, and markets, in regions such as the United States, South America, Sub-Saharan Africa and India. He has been a team member consulting with renewable energy developers and leading corporates, modeling and creating renewable energy markets through public and private sector engagement, facilitating organizational strategy and design efforts, and conducting research and thought leadership.
Prior to joining CWP, Kieran supported the UN High Level Champions for Global Climate Action as an energy and industry lead, where he worked with partners to catalyze and design global, multi-stakeholder initiatives to put renewable hydrogen and green steel markets on pathways consistent with limiting global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Previously, Kieran worked for more than five years with Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), a leading and independent energy think-and-do-tank, analyzing and facilitating transformative change efforts among communities, corporates, policymakers, and philanthropies. There, he served as a manager to the CEO and helped to build RMI’s Strategic Analysis and Engagement program, which assesses complex systems and explores dynamic pathways enabling faster energy systems transitions. Before that, Kieran enjoyed various entrepreneurial, analytical, and consulting roles.
Kieran is educated in philosophy, history, international relations and economics, with a Bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Most of Kieran’s time is spent as a loving partner and parent, and a roving reader, cyclist, and performing artist.

Lee Muller

Board Director

Lee is an accomplished business leader with over 35 years in executive management and investment banking experience. Lee has extensive experience as the chief financial officer of both public and private companies where he has been successful in growing organizations, raising capital, managing risk, and being a trusted business partner to senior management.

Between December 2013 and April 2020, Lee served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of AquaVenture Holdings Limited (NYSE: WAAS), which was one of the fastest growing, publicly listed companies in the water treatment solutions business before being acquired by Culligan in March 2020. Lee was also the Chief Financial Officer of AquaVenture’s desalination and wastewater treatment subsidiary, Seven Seas Water Corporation. As Chief Financial Officer of AquaVenture, Lee led and managed the complete finance and accounting function, including financial and management reporting; financial planning and analysis; treasury, capital raising, risk management and balance sheet optimization; tax strategy and compliance; accounting/internal control; and investor relations. Lee was a member of the company’s Executive Committee and its Investment Committee and served as its Chief Compliance Officer. As a critical partner within the Executive Team, Lee collaborated extensively on business development with a particular focus on opportunity creation. As an executive of AquaVenture/Seven Seas Water, Lee represented AquaVenture as a director on the boards of its subsidiaries.

Prior to AquaVenture, Lee served as Chief Financial Officer of ContourGlobal, an international developer, owner and operator of electric power businesses. Lee was a senior leader of the company since its inception in 2005 and was responsible for many executive functions in finance and business development during his seven-year tenure. Lee was also a member of the company’s Executive Committee.

Prior to ContourGlobal, Lee was a senior banker in the Energy & Power Group at Goldman Sachs, with specific responsibility for executing complex infrastructure financings. Lee has also served on the advisory board of Venture Global LNG and AVAIO Capital.

Lee graduated summa cum laude as an accounting major from Boston University’s School of Management and has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago. Lee is a Certified Public Accountant (currently inactive). Lee completed the Leadership at the Peak training at the Center for Creative Leadership.

Liliya Surzhenko

Country Manager Ukraine

Liliya has more than twenty years of experience in the energy sector of Ukraine focusing on infrastructure, regulation of natural monopolies, licensing, foreign investments, project structuring and development, drafting of legislation. She has a substantial experience in due diligence of renewable projects for private investors as well as for EBRD in the framework of EBRD’s Ukraine Sustainable Energy Lending Facility (USELF).
Liliya advised a number of major international companies on legal and regulatory framework related to development, construction and operation of renewable power plants with special attention paid to the project development cycle/stages, receiving necessary licenses and permits, mitigating associated risks.
Her activities involved interaction with the Regulator, Electricity Market Operator, Parliament Fuel and Energy Sector Committee and other stakeholders in the energy market. She was member of a numerous working groups dealing with various aspects of energy sector’s reform and improvement of regulatory framework in electricity sector. She participated in several technical assistance projects dealing with harmonization of the Ukrainian legal and regulatory framework with the EU Directives and Regulations to comply with the commitments undertaken by Ukraine when joining the Energy Community Treaty.
Liliya joined the team in July 2021 and supports its endeavors in Ukraine as a country manager.
She regards herself as a goal-oriented and result-driven person. Outside of work Liliya enjoys sports, traveling and music.

Maja Turković

SVP Development Europe

Maja was a pioneer of the wind energy industry development in Serbia, as a co-owner and director of the first large-scale wind project in Serbia, as well as through her engagement in theSerbian Wind Energy Association.
She brings over twenty years of invaluable and multi-angled experience in renewable energy sector, covering wide range of different roles and engagements: from Power Utility restructuring, to RES policy making and RES project development. Some of her notable engagements include being an assistant minister for the power sector, in the Ministry of Energy, Government of Serbia, where she was responsible for allocation of grants for the power sector, oversaw the restructuring and unbundling of the Power Utility of Serbia, managed a project of establishing of the Energy Regulatory Authority and conducted bilateral negotiations on Structure Adjustment Credit with the World Bank. Through Serbian Wind Energy Association, she also helped drafting of RES laws and by-laws with regards to PPA bankability terms and FIT scheme.
Maja holds a Masters degree in Power Systems from the University of Belgrade‘s Faculty of Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Imperial College London Business School.
Maja gives back to community on a large scale by being actively involved in several non-profit institutions. She is empowering young people in Serbia through her Board presence in Pexim Foundation; She co-founded WISE SEE network (Women in Sustainable Energy) dedicated to empowering women in the industry. Finally, she is constantly working on innovative ways to decarbonize our planet through her active involvement in a regional network of independent energy transition think tanks SE3T.net.
Outside of work, Maja enjoys spending time with her large and noisy family, and hiking with her dog. She is an artsy person and never misses a good art exhibition; she loves sketching and painting and indulging herself in old book binding techniques.

Margaret Mutschler

VP Development , Africa

Margaret has substantial experience in the packaging, negotiating and managing of infrastructure projects, focusing on environmental sustainability, technical feasibility, commercial viability, legal architecture and financial bankability. She frequently performs due diligence processes for commercial banks, development banks and funding institutions. Margaret provides guidance to development in the infrastructure financing industry, serving on a number of investment fund boards and investment committees.

Margaret completed her Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 1991 and obtained her Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Law from the University of London in 2011. She also completed a Certificate in Blockchain Strategy during the 2020 COVID19 lockdown period.

Since May 2017 she is a partner in Mutschler Consulting Services (MCS), a Namibian owned cross-sectoral consultancy. She provides engineering, management and development solutions on sustainable projects, across different sectors, whilst assisting clients in the development and implementation of projects, processes and structures which will support the ability of current and future generations to maintain a healthy community.

She joined the team in 2019, and since August 2020, is representing the company and supports it’s endeavours in Namibia as Country Manager.

Marko Janković

Head of Electricity Market Department Europe

Marko joined CWP in April 2023 as Head of Electricity Market Department. Marko was a pioneer of electricity market development in Serbia with more than 15 years of experience in energy sector, as electrical engineer with a long career of working for public utility “Elektromreža Srbije” (EMS), as well as through engagement in many national and international associations related to electricity market.
Prior to joining CWP, Marko was Director of Electricity Market Division in Serbian TSO. During his long carrier in EMS he made key contributions to establish electricity market processes in Serbia, drafting market rules and all necessary legislation without which electricity market cannot be imagined. In the last few years, he had been working with his team on the integration of the national market into the regional and pan-European electricity market. Marko was a member of ENTSO-E Market Committee as well as member of steering committees of single European auction office (JAO Luxemburg) and single European balancing platform for Imbalance Netting (IGCC platform). As an electrical engineer who graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering University of Belgrade, he is very proud of his membership in the Serbian National CIGRE and CIRED Committees.
Outside of work, he enjoys every moment of his life, spending time with his wife and son and many friends.

Momchil Arnautski

VP, Commercial Analytics

Momchil began his career as an assurance analyst at EY (Ernst & Young). After that he joined a Dutch hedge fund where he gained experience in equity trading encompassing various industries, top-down, bottom-up, quantitative and fundamental research, along with algorithmic trading strategy development. He was passionate to continue his career in value creation and environmental impact industries, thus after 2 years as an equity trader he joined CWP.
Since joining CWP in 2017, Momchil has focused his efforts on financial analysis of various wind, solar and storage projects. He is also involved in the research and economic analysis of various technologies related to the power to molecules sector (PtX).
Prior to working life, Momchil completed a master’s degree at Rotterdam School of Management and a bachelor’s degree at Bocconi University Milan. Outside CWP you will find Momchil in the park having a walk or learning how to play the guitar.

Nikola Stamenov

Director of Business Development, SEE

Nikola has joined CWP Serbia in Jan 2019 as a Deputy Director of project development. He overlooks development of new projects in the region, manages team on day to day operations, and keeps regular communication with all relevant government, business and social stakeholders. He is also part of business development group that is actively assessing and searching for new projects and opportunities in the region.
Nikola’s background and experience are truly unique one. After working for four years as a consultant within the PwC advisory group, Nikola spent next 15 years working in entertainment industry, co-creating and managing internationally recognized live events and businesses across three continents. His broad background involves strong work ethics and commitment to business objectives. He is a proactive manager and team player who helps the company grow through a combination of creativity and strong and intuitive leadership. He also holds an MBA from IESE Business School.
As an ex pro football player, outside the work, Nikola enjoys playing sports and being in nature, reading, and occasionally clubbing and going to festivals. Above all, he enjoys spending time with his little boy and girl.

Nouri Chahid

VP Strategy - EMEA

Nouri is an Aerospace Engineer graduate of Parks College of St Louis University (USA) and holds an MBA from the Nottingham Trent University (UK), with close to 30 years of experience in various business industries, of which 20 years spent in general management.

After some short-term consultancy work within the last 10 years, Nouri has joined the great global CWPR Team in late 2019 and is now overseeing the development of some very exciting PtX projects on the African continent.
Other than his work, his personal interests range from aviation, powerboating, cosmology, international politics, to simply skiing some slopes in his favorite Austria, playing tennis, chess or the violin at home.

Pëllumb Kallaba

Country Manager Albania

Pëllumb Kallaba was a member of the Council of Supervisors of ONE Telecommunications (former T - Mobile) in Albania during 2019-2022. He holds a Joint European Master’s Degree in Comparative Local Development by the University of Trento (Italy) and the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), as well as bachelor’s degree in Public Administration by the Southeast European University (North Macedonia). Simultaneously, since 2019 he has been a Senior Investment Adviser for Western Balkans at River Styxx Capital - a private equity investment fund based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

During 2017-2018, Pëllumb was a country consultant with Sutherland Global Services for the Kosovo branch and supported the establishment of operations in the business process outsourcing sector.

During 2012-2016, he served in the capacity of Chief of Staff/Political Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo, as well as conducted several specializations in the field of state-building, security sector review and foreign policy by the George C. Marshall Center (Germany) and the European Security and Defense College (Belgium).

Rade Mirović

Head of Construction Europe

Rade joined CWP in January 2023, with more than 30 years of international experience in the Construction and Renewable Energy industry.
Prior to joining CWP, Rade was working for General Electric (GE) as OTR Leader for Eastern Europe, Onshore Wind International. During that assignment, he was heading a Project Management team taking care of implementation of projects, including logistics, budget, schedule, installation, and commissioning of WTGs. He was also leading the EMEA Center of Excellence for EPC – turnkey projects. He served as a Managing Director of GE entities in Montenegro and Serbia.
In his previous assignments with French VINCI Construction, he was leading MEP teams in construction of 6 hotels in Vietnam, Germany, Czech Republic and Hungary. With Austrian Porr Bau, he served as Head of Infrastructure for projects in Montenegro and Serbia.
Rade holds a M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Belgrade.

Radu has extensive experience in the energy infrastructure and power trading sectors of Romania. He is working with CWP (formerly Continental Wind Partners / PS Wind) in different partnerships since 2006. From the beginning of the renewable energy industry in the country, Radu was involved in various successful wind power project development, permitting and construction activities. Ramy Lotfy is the Chief Commercial Officer for CWP Global’s Hydrogen division
Ramy is an established Business leader within the energy industry assuming senior leadership roles in PLC environments with accountability for strategy, M&A, Asset management, fund raising and commercial operations. He has led large and complex businesses globally with multi-billion dollar developments in the extractives, infrastructure and energy business. Ramy was most recently the group Head of Commercial for Tullow Oil PLC and held previous positions at BG Group and Wood Mackenzie.

GM South America

Roberto is the GM for CWP's South American developments. He has an extensive trajectory in the Energy sector where he has been Executive President, Director and CEO of various important companies such as IPI International, CGC and Puma Energy. He has also been member of the board to various banks and companies throughout the years. Roberto has spent most of his professional life creating and establishing new business models for innovative companies and has had close relationship with all the main players in the energy market and political arena. In his early years he graduated in Law in Argentina (UBA) and in the United States (NYU MCJ) and has combined over the years this skill with his Business Management (Universite de Liege and OCD ) to write and negotiate long term contracts.

Roxana Simon

Head of Project Finance

Roxana joined CWP Europe in April 2022, and she is heading the Project Financing activities for CWP Europe. She used to work at the EBRD in the Energy Europe team in London, where she closed the project financing of more than 500MW of wind and solar in Romania, over 250 MW of wind in Serbia, and 30 MW in Mongolia. In addition to financing renewables, Roxana was involved in abroad range of transactions in power transmission and distribution as well as gas transmission and distribution and was actively involved in policy dialog with state authorities and regulators on supporting them implement support schemes for renewable projects, tariff methodology for gas and electricity distribution in relation to EBRD’s investments in Romania, Moldova, Serbia and Montenegro.

Samba Diallo

Country Manager Mauritania

Samba Diallo is an economist with proven experience in large portfolio investment in energy, mining fisheries and agriculture sectors. Throughout his career Samba engaged high level business leaders which sparked foreign direct investments in various fields.
Before joining CWP Global Samba worked as an economic and commercial specialist with the U.S. State Department at the U.S. Embassy in Mauritania for 8 years. In this capacity Samba worked to implement USG priority programs such as the Millennium Challenge Cooperation, African Growth Opportunity Act, Port Security Program and Power Africa for electricity access in North Africa. Samba facilitated business deals and contract negotiations in the sectors food industry, off grid electricity, oil and gas. Samba diligently works with private sector, diplomatic corps, government representatives and international organizations.Prior to that, Samba gained international experience in Denmark and Namibia on environment and fight against global warming. Samba is a Fulbright scholar with a Master's degree in International Relations and economics from Old Dominion University in Virginia. Samba speaks and writes English, Arabic French and Fulani.

Sevda Yontcheva

VP Bulgaria

Sevda was among the pioneers in the wind energy industry development in Bulgaria. She started her work in the renewables sector in 2008 with the successful development and implementation of wind farm Vetrocom (72,5 MW). The park is one of the first wind projects in the country and was purchased by Apiq. Later she worked as Head of Project Management at Global Wind Power in the development and implementation of wind farm Shabla (42MW), sold latter to Enel. Since then she has been an active entrepreneur and has managed teams in several software companies.
Currently in CWP she leads the Bulgarian Development team.
Sevda graduated from the American University in Bulgaria and later obtained a master’s degree and in Energy, Infrastructure and Utilities from Sofia University.
Outside of work she is a mother of two boys and enjoys time outdoors with her family and friends. She loves travelling, dancing, fixer upper renovation projects and repurposing DIY activities.

Tijana Gajic

Tijana entered the Company as a financial analyst, steadily growing to serve as Head of Finance for several years. Prior to joining the Company, she worked as an auditor in pwc, studied economics and business in Universities of Belgrade and Vienna and obtained an MPhil degree in Innovation, Strategy and Organization from the University of Cambridge.
In recent years she worked in parallel as a Director of PEXIM Foundation – non profit organization, collaborating with University of Cambridge with the aim of helping young people develop their academic interest and shape economic, social and legal landscape of Serbia and Macedonia.

Executive Vice President

Viktor has more than 15 years of experience in renewables, power trading and large scale energy infrastructure business. Prior to his current role, he headed the wind power sales and business development in 27 countries in Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS with Siemens Gamesa, and he held the position of country managing director for Croatia, BiH and Ukraine. Before that Viktor was sales director for the Balkans with Vestas Wind Systems. He holds a degree in engineering in industrial process control and a degree in economics & management of the energy sector. Viktor is a certified power trader on the EXAA spot market in Vienna, Austria and graduated from the Wind Power Technology academy in Aarhus, Denmark.

Vladan Rankov

Chief Commercial Officer, VP Finance

Vladan Rankov is an economist with 15 years of investment banking experience. Last 4 years he spent working as a CFO of an independent Energy Service Company Resalta in CEE. Since 2012 until 2016 he was member of Continental Wind Partners financing team for CEE and Australian projects. He gained experience in renewable energy projects evaluation and financing as well as project development. Since 2006 until 2012 Vladan was gaining experience as investment banker working for several brokerage companies in Serbia, representing foreign investment funds. Vladan was involved in several debt raising transaction during his time at KBC Securities Serbia (investment banking arm of Belgian based KBC). Vladan is licensed portfolio manager in Serbia with a SEC License number 5/0-27-5153/3-09 since October 2009.

His personal interest is sustainable agriculture. While not occupied with CWP, he spends his time managing family-owned agricultural farm in Northeastern Serbia. He is a proud father of a 5-year-old girl.

Youssef Takki Chebihi is a seasoned growth leader in the MEA region with over 19 years of experience in the energy space including On-shore Wind, Renewable Hybrid Solutions, Thermal and O&G sectors.

Prior to joining CWP Global, Youssef was Sales Leader for GE Renewable Energy | Onshore Wind across the MENA region based in Dubai. Youssef has been instrumental in positioning the GE Wind Business in the region. He was responsible for driving the growth strategy in the renewables segment by bringing together technology, services and innovative financing solutions. Prior to that, Youssef was Commercial Leader based in Istanbul driving the Commercial Operations activities for Turkey and North Africa. Before joining GE Renewable Energy, Youssef has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility globally in Operations, Sales, Services within the GE Thermal business.

Prior to joining GE, Youssef was part of the Reliability and Safety Department at Bombardier Aerospace responsible for the certification of new commercial aircrafts. Youssef is a graduate of the GE Commercial Leadership Program, he holds a MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from HEC Paris.

Aca is one of the key players in land acquisition process, engaging his invaluable communication skills and passion for work with local communities. Alejandro Barberá

Senior Wind Analyst

Alejandro joined CWP in November 2022 as a Senior Wind Analyst. He has spent the last 8 years working at UL Solutions at the wind energy advisory. His area of expertise is wind resource and wind farm performance assessment. Alejandro has been working with worldwide projects since 2014. He has strong expertise in greenfield projects, developing and monitoring wind measurement campaigns.
Alejandro graduated from the University Jaume I of Castellón as a Mechanical Engineer. Graduated from University of Barcelona with a Master's degree in Renewable Energies and Energy Sustainability, and he is currently pursuing an EMBA at EAE Business School.

Originally from Belgrade and educated in St. Louis, Missouri, holding an MBA in Business Administration and a BA in Business Administration with emphasis on International Business. Over 12 years of experience and expertise in mapping out permitting pathways and processes for large scale renewable energy and mining projects in Serbia and around the globe. Managed and permitted one of the world's best copper projects and successfully brought discovery of ore deposit all the way to commencing construction of a mine. Aleksandar Anđić

Project Developer

Aleksandar first joined CWP in 2013 during the development of the largest wind project in Serbia – Čibuk 1. He oversaw the land acquisition process and acted as the company’s focal point for the local community relations. His integrity, as well as his unique social and communication skills enabled Aleksandar to establish a trusting and long-lasting relationship with various stakeholders in the community. Once the project was acquired by outside investors, Aleksandar joined their team and continued to support the project from the community engagement side until the completion of the construction. In April 2020 he rejoined CWP as a Project developer with a focus on CSR and land acquisition process.
In his spare time, Aleksandar enjoys being in nature and he loves animals. He aspires to one day own a plot of forest and turn it into a sanctuary for birds and small animals. He is also a big fan of alternative music gigs and cartoon comedy.

Aleksandar Naydenov

Payroll Specialist

Aleksandar joined CWP in June 2022 holding the role of Payroll Specialist.
He began his professional career in 2017 at one of the largest financial consulting companies in Bulgaria - AFA Consultants. He was responsible for payroll calculation and personnel administration for several of the firm’s clients. Then he started working at LC Waikiki Bulgaria managing the entire payroll cycle and was involved in several important HR projects, such as the implementation of key software products and the transition from the external to the internal payroll process.
Aleksandar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.

Aleksandar Ristić

Development Manager

Aleksandar has started as an intern at CWP and has since been promoted to a project developer, working as part of the team focusing on the SEE region. He is engaged in all technical aspects of development and maintains relations with OEMs and external consultants. He has successfully completed EMD’s windPRO training course held in Denmark and continues improving by working on in-house wind resource and energy assessments as well as layout designing.
He holds a BA in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade and is currently working on his master thesis on renewable energy generation and storage.
Outside of the office, you can usually find him doing something music-related, either getting back to his long-forgotten guitar playing or enjoying a jazz gig in a local bar.

Alexandra has joined CWP Global in December 2021 as a Data Analyst, Renewable Energy Resources. Her main responsibilities are data management of global measuring stations, collection and analyzing geographical data by using specialized software. Alexandra started her professional career back in 2017 and for the past four years, she has been working in the field of cartographic and GIS data analysis. She is an engineer by education with a Bachelor’s degree in Land and Real Estate Management and Planning. Ana Todorović

Legal Advisor

Ana holds a Master's degree of Law from the University of Belgrade. Also, she has successfully undertaken the Bar Exam, as well as the Attorney Exam, and is a PhD student at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law.
Ana began her career as a legal trainee and afterwards was engaged by the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure on issuing legal opinions, permits and other documents required for the approval of projects under the authority of the Ministry. As for the last couple of years, Ana was registered as Attorney at Law and she has been working as a legal consultant providing legal advice and consulting clients mainly in the field of renewable energy sources and development of projects.
In her free time, Ana enjoys traveling and engaging in interesting hobbies such as the art of swordplay and ice skating.

Ana joined CWP team in March 2021. Prior to her current role, Finance and Administration Assistant, she worked as Personal Assistant to Chairman. Assistant Finance, Administration & Operations

Ana joined CWP team in 2019 asOffice Manager, being responsible for Belgrade office operating smoothly, providing support to other team members in terms of meetings and travels organization, cooperating with finance and administration department, making sure the office looks representative and welcoming our guests.

She started her professional career in 2007 in one of the largest domestic banks such as Komercijalna banka. She was working in retail sector for 3 years, first as a Teller and later on as Client Relationship Officer. Over the last 10 years, she have gained significant experience working closely with General Managers of respected companies such as General Electric, MSD, Nortal and building her knowledge in administration, logistics and finance. Ana gained valuable insights while working all these years in challenging and dynamic environments, meeting many different personalities, industries and work styles.

She has completed Basic and Specialized professional studies in the field of Finance, accounting and banking at Belgrade Business School. Anđelija joined CWP as a Financial Analyst in December 2021.
She graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. After that she obtained MSc degrees in Financial Markets from Higher School of Economics, Moscow and in Public Policy from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Prior to joining CWP, Anđelija interned in a small M&A office in Paris and worked for a London-based start-up that covers global emerging market bonds. Andrija Oros

Manager for Energy Storage

Andrija has joined CWP in July 2022, with rich international experience in power system consulting. Andrija has specialized in integration of new energy sources, conventional and renewables, power system plaining and optimization. His consulting career started with Electricity Coordinating Centre in Belgrade where he participated in planning of the major transmission system developments in Southeast Europe, HVDC interconnection in Montenegro and integration studies for the first utility scale renewable sources in SEE countries. He has carried out projects for various institutions such as EBRD, World Bank, IFC, USEA, USAID, and regional TSOs. In 2015, Andrija joined one of the leading international consultancy company - WSP, UK. Starting as a Senior engineer and eventually as an Associate Director he was entrusted to lead study teams worldwide on projects such as integration of the 1GW+ PV plants in UAE, large scale utility and industry developments in Middle East and combined PV and BEES solutions in Caribbean and Africa. It also included updating grid codes and developing national strategies for integration of the large-scale renewables. Andrija holds a Master’s Degree in the field of Electrical Engineering from the University of Novi Sad.
Andrija support us in designing innovative energy storage and grid connection solutions, enabling more efficient usage of our assets in development.

Anja Kisić

Communications Manager

Anja became a part of CWP as the Communications Manager in July 2022. With a proven track record, she is an adept Marketing and Communications professional who has contributed her expertise across a diverse range of industries. Anja earned a Master's Degree in Marketing Management and Public Relations from the University of Belgrade, complemented by a BA in Media Studies from the University of Novi Sad.

Before joining the CWP team, Anja garnered invaluable experience in sectors spanning aviation, retail real estate, and the film industry. She also honed her skills at PR and media agencies in Belgrade and Novi Sad. Atanas Atanasov

Projects Coordinator

Atanas Atanasov is a Civil Engineer with Master’s degree of Engineering of Transport Infrastructure - Road Engineering in the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia, Bulgaria. His career path has taken place in both the public and private sectors.
He devote his first professional years on preventive, emergency and winter maintenance of roads on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Later he participated in new infrastructure projects, both as a contractor and as a supervisor.
Before CWP his mission was, side by side with other professionals that he learned from, to build and maintain the infrastructure we all use - at all costs in any conditions, in service of society.
Now his belief is that he will find his place among other pros from which to learn a thing or two, and his knowledge gained from participating in sites of national importance, to help lay the foundations, to leave a better world for next generations.
Outside work he loves to learn new skills and tests his limits, so he has made a list of “things to try”. After rock climbing, bungee jumping and scuba diving all he has left to do (for now) is to learn to ski and to jump with parachute, but that's unlikely to be the end of the list.
When it's his day off, you can find him (if there is cell service), out in the woods with tent set up, staring at the campfire.

Aysun is an experienced finance professional that has spent the last 5 years in the private equity real estate sector. Prior to joining CWP, he was part of a leading CEE investment fund and an international commercial real estate consultancy firm.

Bilyana joined CWP in January 2022 as a Project Аssistant to the Development team in Bulgaria. Bilyana provides support with tasks related to documentation management and general administration.
She comes from the clinical research sector where she spent 6 years supporting the conduct of clinical trials taking place across a number of countries. Prior to that Bilyana has been in the renewables field since 2010, working at a project development company, as well as at the Bulgarian Wind Energy Association, focusing on the advocacy of renewables in the public and political scene.
Bilyana holds a degree in International Finance and Trade from the University of Portsmouth, as well as a Master in Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University. Bogdan graduated from Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest, International Economic Relations and after graduation has been part of Trafigura Group, one of the largest global commodity trading companies, for nearly 14 years and the General Manager of Romanian subsidiary of Ecore Group, a major recycling company, for 6 years. He is also acting as Managing Director of Resalta Energy Romania and Deputy Manager of Next Energy Partners, Resalta's local joint venture partner. Next Energy Partner is part of a group of Romanian companies involved in producing renewable energy, supplying energy to end consumers, energy trading and developing projects together with CWP Europe, a leading global developer of renewable energy.

In April 2022, Bogdan joined CWP as an Assistant Project Developer for the largest wind project in Serbia "Vetrozelena".
Bogdan holds a Bachelor's degree of Law and has a keen interest in solving property-legal relations. Additionally, he is the company’s focal point for the local community relations. His unique social and communication skills lead him to establish a long-term relationship with the community.
As a former professional athlete - volleyball player, Bogdan enjoys all sports, whenever his free time allows. He is also a member of riding clubs, where he directs his love towards animals, especially horses.

Bogomila Galaboff

Bogomila has dedicated her career to sustainability and holds a Master degree from Bocconi University, where she graduated in Green Management, Energy and Corporate Social Responsibility. Prior to CWPR she has experience as a sustainability consultant and renewable energy business development associate.
She is supporting the development Power-to-X strategy for CWPR and is also involved directly with marketing and communications strategies across the PostScriptum Group.
Outside of work, Bogomila dedicates her time to creating of culture and fostering creativity in youth, which she believes is the cornerstone for sustainable development. Bojana Bajčetić

Project Assistant

Bojana joined CWP as Project Assistant in November 2022. Her previous work experience is related to both energy sector and construction sector - she worked in the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia. Also, she has over 5 years of experience in the field of remote control and automation of complex energy systems (SCADA system). She has always been interested in technology and development, so that naturally determined her education. Bojana graduated from the Megatrend University, Faculty of Business, as well as Higher School of Electrical Engineering and Computing Vocational Studies in Belgrade.
She has always taken care of ecology and a healthy environment. In her spare time, Bojana loves to spend time in nature, go on hikes with her dog (Megi), ice skate, read, and try out new restaurants and coffee shops.

Boris Bakalov

Project Development Manager

Boris has more than 15 years of experience in the development and implementation of renewable projects, in particular wind – from green field to commissioning, subsequent management, and in due diligence stage upon third party acquisition.
Boris began his career in the renewables sector in 2007 at Enhol Group. He was involved in the development of various projects in Bulgaria and within the region.
He has leading participation throughout the project life cycle of Suvorovo windfarm (60 MW), successfully commissioned in 2012. Afterwards continued as Asset Manager of the named wind farm until it was acquired by MЕТ Group in 2021.
He likes to spend time hiking into the wildness and connecting with nature and is keen on hunting. A huge admirer of rock music and passionate for implementation of DIY projects.

Boubacar joined CWP in September 2022 as a HR & IT manager, he is a highly capable and passionate multi-disciplinary professional with + 16 years’ experience in IT, HR, projects and general management roles. Dejan Janković

Procurement and Construction Manager

Dejan is an electrical energy specialist with 20+ years of experience in energy sector, focused on project management, construction, supervision, etc. Prior to joining CWP, he successfully managed grid connection process, construction, and operation, following all applicable procedures of two wind projects in Serbia, with different types of connection (on TSO and DSO grid). During this process, he successfully managed obtaining of all necessary permits and licenses.
Dejan holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty for Electrical Engineering of the University of Belgrade. He is a member of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers and the Institute for Standardization of Serbia, active in commission for standards in wind and PV sector.
Dejan is a husband and a father of two kids, future engineers. Out of the office, Dejan enjoys spending time in nature with family and cycling.

Denitsa Lefterova

Legal Advisor

Denitsa holds a Master degree in Law from Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’, with close to 10 years experience in the energy sector.
Right after her graduation in 2012, she started working in the project company for development and construction of new nuclear power units in Kozloduy, where she advised the management team on all legal aspects during the feasibility study of the project. Before joining CWP Global, Denitsa was also a legal adviser in the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. During that time, except being a legal representative of the administrative body before the court, she gained a lot of experience in the licensing procedure of electricity and natural gas traders, producers and transmission system operators.

Denitza Lalova

Project Developer

Following her passion for environmental sustainability, Denitza joined CWP in 2010 as executive support for top management right after graduation. She later became involved with the development of wind and solar projects in Bulgaria as an Assistant Project Manager. She also worked on research and analysis related to wind, solar, storage and power to molecules.
In 2020, she joined the Bulgarian development team and is responsible for the implementation of international standards in the environmental and social impact aspects of project development.
Denitza has a BSc in Organic chemistry from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and an MBA with specialization in Environmental Management from New Bulgarian University. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, painting and cooking.

Dmitriy Dolinskiy

Designer, Ukraine

Since 2005, Dmitriy has been working as a civil and industrial designer. He is a certified specialist in the field of design of buildings, structures and automobile roads. He joined the CWP Global team in August 2021 and started participating in development of wind energy projects in Ukraine.
While practicing his professional activities, Dmitriy continues to comprehensively study and develop in different areas of design. Professionally, he worked his way from an employee to a manager and chief engineer. He participated in the development of the first wind farm in the South of Ukraine.

Doha Ben Hamda

Administrative Officer

Doha joined CWP in June 2022 as an Administrative Officer, she also takes forward environmental, social and gouvernance activities. Born in Tangier, an international city and a crossroad of civilisations. Having a sense of discovery and exchange, she began studies combining business administration (bachelor) and a specialisation in commercial action (master). Her appetite for the organisation and her procedural rigour, was accompanied by additional law training in order to fully meet the market expectations. Started her professional experience in 2017, holding and accompanying institutional events related to the environment and energy efficiency, which provided her with knowledge of Morocco‘s new orientations and its potential development.

Dorin Filimon

Dorin first joined CWP in 2008 as GIS Specialist, providing technical support for the land acquisition process, layout design and permitting.

Fatimetou Habiboullah

Procurement and Finance Manager (Mauritania)

Fatimetou covers Procurement and Finance in CWP (Mauritania) with proven experience in audit, administration and finance. She has worked in various work environments, mostly mining, ports and telecommunication companies.
She led Risk management portfolio, Data collection and financial analysis reports.
On the academic side, Fatimetou holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration focusing on accounting and auditing from the international Lebanese University. Her academic and professional experience has improved her effectiveness in accounting, project management and administration.

Hajar Bennar

Sustainable Development & ESG Lead, Africa

Hajar is very motivated and committed to creating blueprints to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs). In this vein, she obtained PhD in Economics and Society (Rennes 2 University) with subject thesis related to renewable energies and sustainable development, Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes) and Bachelor of Arts Equivalent in Geography and Spatial Planning.
She is also Research Associate at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Research in Societal Innovations (LiRIS) and Minister in charge of Energy, Mines and Environment in the Moroccan Shadow Youth Government. She has working experience in the private sector as well as with research bodies in the field of sustainable development indicators and assessment tool conception, green supply chain, triple bottom line reporting as well as renewable energy policies. She is trilingual, speaking Arabic, French and English.

Hana joined CWP team in September 2022 as Environmental, Social, and Economic Development Manager in Mauritania.
She has graduated with a Master’s degree in English, Civilizations and International relations studies from "Universite Paris Nanterre". The start of her professional career started at the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration in the communication department.
Prior to joining CWP, Hana worked as a consultant for the World Bank, a lead analyst for DAI SBG leading the corporate social responsibility program of Kosmos Energy Mauritania and served as the international cooperation senior advisor in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. She has experience in external relations, youth development strategies, entrepreneurship capacity building design and M&E reporting.

Hafsa Tarfaoui

Project Manager

Hafsa joined CWP team in September 2021 as Project Manager in Morocco. She has graduated with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from "Ecole Hassania des travaux publics". The start of her professional career in 2014 coincided with the commissioning of Africa’s largest capacity wind farm. She was involved from the very start of the project and gathered six years of experience in the industry during which she oversaw and managed the wind field operations and maintenance.
Having also briefly worked in a governmental urban agency, Hafsa has gained some experience in urbanism and city planning, a firsthand knowledge of buildings codes and regulations as well as familiarity with administrative procedures and the processing and approving of permits.
Away from work, Hafsa loves cooking, baking and experimenting with new flavors and cuisines. She enjoys reading books and would love to travel and explore many new places! Recently, she has developed a newfound interest in dancing.

Iliyan Zarudskiy

Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Iliyan has spent 5 years of his professional experience in the Assurance department of PwC Bulgaria. During his time as an auditor, he gained substantial knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards and helped his clients to present true and fair financial reports. Iliyan holds a degree in International Economic Relations with specialization in International Finance and is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). In 2021, Iliyan joined the team of CWP and he is primarily dealing with the financial reporting within the Group.

Senior Personal Assistant

Iva joined CWP in June 2023 as a Senior Personal Assistant, and she is currently supporting CWP Global CEO and COO/CFO.
She is an experienced English language professional with passion for C-level support. Iva graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, department of English language and literature. Prior to joining CWP, she had been working for 5 years in the automotive industry, commencing as an Executive Assistant to Managing Director/Vice President, and then overseeing the Communications department, responsible for four plants under one legal entity. One part of Iva's professional engagement was dedicated to CSR activities, aimed at environmental protection and employees' impact on it.
Most of her up-to-date career she has been working in international companies and is skilled in Administration, Customer Support and Sales, Event Management, PR, and Corporate Communications. Ivalina Sokolova

Manager, Reporting and Analysis

Ivalina joined CWP in July 2022 holding the role of a Manager, Reporting and Analysis. She began her professional career as an external auditor at PWC Bulgaria, where she was acting as an in-charge responsible for the planning and supervision of different audit engagements. Her desire to be part of an internal finance and accounting team, which creates value for the business, determined her move to ContourGlobal in Sofia. The department she was part of was established primarily with the role to insource the accounting and management reporting function. During her time there, she was responsible for all internal and external reporting requirements, including external debt compliance. Ivalina successfully facilitated the expansion of ContourGlobal’s business by being actively involved with the transition to new systems as well as with the improvement & implementation of processes and procedures.
Ivalina holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and is a fully certified ACCA member.
She used to take Bulgarian folk dance classes and singing lessons and she enjoys painting and travelling. Ivan joined CWP in 2016 to pursue his passion for sustainability. He is supporting the development of large-scale renewable energy projects across three continents, and he is involved in growing the nascent Power-to-X industry. Ivona Pjevač

Personal Assistant

Ivona graduated from the Faculty of Contemporary Arts in Belgrade, with a BA degree in Arts Management. Over the years she worked across various industries, including retail, childcare, non-profit sector, law, and construction, mostly in management, administration, and production.
She is particularly proud of her engagement with NGO Supernatural, eco movement from Belgrade, where she spent five years working on promotion of environmental protection. One of the most notable projects she worked on was „From waste dump to park" - a revitalization of illegal construction waste dump into an eco-park.

Ivaylo Shirokanski

Financial Analyst

Ivaylo graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge. He joined CWP in 2020 as a financial analyst. In this role, he has been evaluating investment opportunities in the clean energy sector through building detailed financial models as well as conducting company and industry research. He is a well-rounded professional with a passion for business, entrepreneurship, and technology and has experience in multiple analytical domains such as economics, finance, strategy consulting as well as data science.
Prior to joining CWP, Ivaylo has worked for a bank in London where he developed an entrepreneurial framework to progress new loan products as well as a start-up where he was responsible for the business development, product-market fit and the financial planning of the company.

Jelena Bogojević

Junior Financial Reporting Analyst

Jelena joined CWP as Junior Financial Reporting Analyst in September 2022. She graduated from Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade and holds a degree in Finance, Banking, and Insurance. Jelena started her professional career in Deloitte in Audit & Assurance department, where she worked as participant in audit of financial statements, internal control design and implementation of various industries such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and IT.

Jelena covers the role of Environmental Compliance and Permitting Manager since late 2022. Her journey with CWP began in 2017 when she initially served as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman. After two years of covering this exciting and highly demanding role, she transitioned to the Project Development team in our Serbia office.

Jelena's passion for environmental matters made her a natural fit for the role of Environmental Officer. Her background includes valuable experience as a Customer Relationship Manager, Team Manager, and Content Creator for marketing campaigns, as well as providing crucial support to top management.

Jelena holds an MA in Italian Language and Literature from the University of Belgrade and an MBA degree from one of the region's leading business schools.

Jens Hennig

Director of Power Generation & Distribution

Jens joined CWP in May 2022 after 15 years of experience in the renewables business. Prior to joining CWP, Jens was the commercial director Eastern Europe & CIS for the onshore wind business of General Electric. He and his team were responsible for offer preparation, risk management, terms & conditions, negotiation, costing and deal strategy for wind turbine supply and service contracts in the Baltics and Balkans countries, Ukraine, Greece, Israel, Poland and Kazakhstan.
During previous commercial roles at GE Jens was active in Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa and Europe and closed transactions worth over $5B, including the order for a 780MW onshore wind farm in Sweden, which once completed will be Europe’s largest.
Until 2007 Jens served as an armed forces officer in the German Army for 12 years, where he led a company of 120 soldiers. He participated in 2 peace-keeping missions with NATO in Bosnia and United Nations in Kosovo.
Jens holds a university diploma in Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences with majors in structural engineering from the German Federal Armed Forces University Munich and an executive M.B.A. from European School of Business Reutlingen (Germany).

Jovana Stojilković

Personal Assistant

Jovana graduated at the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation in Belgrade, with a MA in Prevention and Treatment of Behavioral Disorders. After the graduation, her interests were directed towards child protection and the development of their socio-emotional competences, therefore, she volunteered in non-governmental organizations on projects in that field and worked as a kindergarten teacher as well. However, despite previous field of interests, she also tried herself in a completely different role when she joined an outsourcing company as an Account Manager, where she worked for the past two years. Now, she is working in CWP as a Personal Assistant.

Khoudia Thiam

Office Manager and Research Officer

Khoudia Thiam joined CWP in September 2022 as an Office Manager and Research Officer in Mauritania. She holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Montreal, in Canada, and has a strong interest in all dimensions of the international sphere. With an inveterate curiosity, Khoudia has closely supported executives in industries as diverse as aerospace, international finance and intellectual property. Her international formation, professional experiences and connections are bolstered by a lifetime of traveling around the globe with her family growing up. This in turn has led to a deep-seated appreciation of culture and language as a whole: she is perfectly bilingual and has excellent translation and writing skills.

Kristiyan Stankov

Management Reporting Analyst

Kristiyan began his carrier as a junior financial controller in Pirelli Spa in Milan, Italy where he was in charge of supporting the statutory reporting activities. In 2018 he returned to Bulgaria and joined IBM as a financial analyst, responsible for budget planning and carrying the monthly closing activities. He then decided to gain a deeper knowledge in the data center operations and cloud industry so he took the position of Senior Business Analyst at Acronis. His was involved in the new project evaluations and actual vs budget analysis for operational data centers.
Kristiyan has always been interested in renewable energy and decided to align his carrier and passion by joining CWP in 2022. Kristiyan holds a degree in International and quantitative finance from Universita’ Bocconi and Universita’ degli Studi Milano.

Laura Georgeta Szabo joined our Bucharest team as Legal Adviser in August 2022. Laura is a highly versed corporate lawyer with over 20 years of extensive experience in the energy sector, with a specific focus on gas & power – market, infrastructure and regulatory. Before joining CWP Global she was heading the legal department within Veolia Energie Romania S.A., and prior to that she was Head of Gas & Power Legal OMV Petrom S.A. Executive Assistant CTO / Team Assistant Technology

Linda joined the CWP Team in June 2022 as Executive & Team Assistant Technology. After her graduation as Industrial Business Management Assistant in 1998, she worked for two years in Sales Operations at apetito AG Germany. She joined the Renewable Business in 2002 at Enron Wind. After the acquisition of Enron Wind by GE, she successfully supported the Commercial Operations and Sales team for 20yrs. Since her return from parental leave in 2021, she has been working part-time and will continue to do so.

Solar Project Manager

Luka is an electrical engineer highly skilled at renewable energy with focus on solar PV plants. He holds a MSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade. Lyubomir joined CWP in May 2022 as Financial Reporting Analyst. His previous experience includes 5 years in PWC Bulgaria assurance practice, working with clients from various industries . Before joining CWP he worked one year in the finance department in one of the largest manufacturers of ceramic and porcelain tiles on the Balkan Peninsula.
Lyubomir graduated with a bachelor’s degree in financial control from UNWE in Bulgaria and is currently an ACCA Student.

Milorad Belojević

Assistant Project Developer

Milorad is an Assistant Project Developer at CWP, having joined the company in February 2023. His role primarily involves close interaction with the local community, and he is actively engaged in the development of the Solarina solar power plant project.
Over the years, Milorad has garnered diverse work experience, particularly in the fields of engineering, construction, transportation, interior design, hospitality, retail, and telecommunications. Prior to joining CWP, he spent the last few years honing his expertise in transportation and logistics, which have been valuable assets in his current role.
Outside of work, Milorad finds fulfillment in embarking on long drives and exploring uncharted territories. Dr. Marc Bednarz

Director Hydrogen and Derivatives

Marc joined CWP in January 2023 after 26 years of Electrochemistry and Renewable Energies in Industry and startups. Prior to joining CWP, Marc was Technology Lead Hydrogen, PtX and Energy Storage at Munich Re, the worldwide largest reinsurance company. At MR he did Technical Due Diligences on most of the leading Electrolyser- and Battery manufacturers for performance warranty insurance - thereof five years in Hong Kong as Head of Green Tech Solutions for Asia Pacific.
Since his PhD in Chemistry in the off-highway sector of DaimlerChrysler and University of Hamburg, Marc developed fuel cell-, electrolyser- and battery technologies from cell to system level for 20 years. This arched from examination of reaction- and degradation mechanisms over the development of manufacturing processes and setup of serial productions to certification and deployment of commercial systems.
In his spare time Marc enjoys open sea kayaking, visiting tropical rain forests, hiking and cooking.

Procurement and Construction Manager

Marko has joined CWP in November 2022, with more than 13 years of experience in construction business. Prior to his current role, Marko was part of the top management teams (as Contractor or Engineer) in capital construction projects in Serbia and Montenegro, worth in total in excess of 3 billion EUR. He worked as consultant in companies Porr (Austria), CRBC (China), Ingerop (France) etc.
His expertise’s are in QA/QC (quality assurance and controlling), health and safety, project management and procurement in civil engineering. Marko holds a master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
He is a husband and a father of three kids. In his spare time, he enjoys music (playing guitar and piano) and sports (kickboxing and cross fit).

Senior Development Manager

Maya is in the wind energy business 15 years for now, as previous employee was one of the biggest wind met mast suppliers in the CEE region. She has been part also of the development team, developing several small projects in Bulgaria and currently in CWP she is a part of the development team, for the development of several large-scale wind projects in Bulgaria.
She has graduated as Civil Works Engineer in the University of Architecture, Civil engineering, and Geodesy and 2015 have graduated an MBA from Sheffield University.

When she is not fully focused on work projects, she usually spends her time arguing with a teenager and trying to get her out to do skiing, riding a bike, or hiking in the mountains. She has got paraglided and love it, but currently has no time to learn flying on her own, so it is in the graph: to find the time!

Project Developer

Medina is an Еlectrical Еngineer, she joined CWP in January 2022, she has studied in ESP (Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique) of Nouakchott and ECC (Ecole Centrale of Casablanca). During her studies she developed skills in many subjects like electricity, electronics and industrial data. Medina has worked in the electricity dispatching center of SOMELEC (Mauritanian company of electricity) where she had the opportunity to work on various themes such as defects in the electricity grid and the main causes of a black-out. She is interested in the energy transition and its impact on the electricity generation sector. In her free time Medina likes reading, playing chess and she is very interested in modern architecture.

Melanie Konrad

Senior Resource Analyst

Melanie is in the renewable energy business 12 years now, as previous employee of wind farm developers juwi and wpd. As a student she has been part of the new services and new business units team writing her thesis on the application of portfolio theory to the energy sector. Then, she supported site assessment topics almost 10 years dealing with wind measurement campaigns and resource assessment for several markets around the globe. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Energy Technologies specialized in Renewable Energies.
In her free time she likes Yoga a lot, both practising and teaching. She travels frequently around Germany, mainly to the Alps or to the North and explores new sites abroad. Her favorite devices are her bike and her sewing machine.

Office Manager (Serbia)

Milica joined CWP in June 2021 as a Personal Assistant to the Chairman, before becoming Office Manager. She is in her final year of studies at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade, majoring in Journalism and Communications. As a student at the acting school Studio Centar she starred in mulitple plays that were part of the Belgrade Youth Center’s regular repertoire for 5 years, before moving on to event organization. She worked in the PR and sales team for Angažman Fest, a local teen festival.

Miloš is a Project Controls Manager at CWP, bringing many years of experience in the renewable energy industry to the newly formed Construction sector. He joined CWP from General Electric Renewable Energy, where he successfully managed the planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management of numerous complex energy projects worldwide.
His expertise in planning complex construction projects is invaluable, and his broad knowledge of megaprojects from different industries makes him a prized team member. He has also worked as an infrastructure designer and a road site manager, further broadening his experience. In addition, Miloš has experience in the oil and gas industry. Mohamed Echfa*gha Mir

Project Manager (Mauritania)

Mohamed graduated with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering focusing on Automation, Signal Processing and Industrial Computing (from ‘’Université Hassan 1er Settat-Morocco). He started his work career in 2018 with Enérgie-Source-Batiments (ESB) as a Project Engineer. He was responsible for the technical portfolio leading tender application. He also worked extensively in monitoring the medium and low voltage electrical network (Rural electrification) and manager of the main stock. Before ESB, he worked with Société Nationale Industrielle et Minière (SNIM) in automation at the Mineral Transport department.

Mohamed Yacoub joined CWP team in Mauritania in October 2022. He graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Financial Mathematics from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. He attended a Master in Actuarial Sciences from Heriot Watt University in Scotland.

Nedko Nedkov

Project Engineer, Solar PV

Nedko Nedkov joined CWP in February 2022 as a PV Project Engineer. He possesses Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from Technical University of Varna and currently is completing his Master’s degree in Electrical Power Systems at the same university.
Prior to joining CWP, he has been working as an Electrical Designer for Photovoltaic projects at Solarpro Holding, where he participated in all of the technical phases of a PV project development: from solar resources assessment to layout design and calculations, and finally the construction phase.
In his free time, Nedko loves to combine his knowledge in metalworking and electronics to create strange and sometimes useful gadgets.

Nikola Kuzmanović

Business Development Assistant Europe

Prior to joining CWP in April 2023, Nikola developed interactive systems models for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), working with newcomer states to plan and develop their Nuclear Power Programs. He also worked for the Serbian Ministry of Environmental Protection as an Intern Project Analyst.
Nikola pursued his MSc in International Energy Economics at the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA - SciencesPo) where he was awarded the Émile Boutmy Scholarship. Fascinated by market-based energy transition strategies, Nikola enjoys forecasting and analyzing trends in energy markets with the aim of developing better fossil fuel exit strategies. Nikola also holds a B.A. in Politics & Economics from SciencesPo.

Since 2001 Phaedra has performed the Corporate Governance, Human Resources, Administrative Management, Finance, IT and overall Senior Management roles within CWP Renewables’ group of companies. She has been with the CWP since its inception in Australia and is extremely proud of the company’s history, excited by its present and inspired for the future.
Prior to her career with CWP Renewables and its related entities, she worked in risk assessment (Lender) for the Australian branch of the Bank of Scotland.
Entwined with her work life she balances 3 sons, a small farm and a passion for sustainability.

Philippe joined CWP in February 2022 as Team leader for Digital Twins and Tools. He has spent the last 10 years of his career in the renewables industry, working for Alstom then GE, focusing on commercial operations, risk management and digital transformation. With a strong drive for data, analytics and digital tools, he is now leading the development of simulations and optimizations for our PtX projects. Reda Ghalem

Senior Operations Manager

Reda joined CWP in 2022 as a Senior Operations Manager in Morocco. He obtained a Master of science in Electrical Engineering from Hassania School of Public Works.
With over 10 years in the construction industry he has worked essentially on site for a day-to-day monitoring, accomplishing many significant milestones and breakthroughs over the course of his career.
Having a hands-on leadership, Reda is results-driven and resourceful professional with extensive experience of project delivery. He has proven sharp management skills on all phases of wide and diverse range of projects, including automotive factory, chemical plants, infrastructure and commercial building construction. He led projects from start-up to commissioning with well-defined goals and continuous assessment of risks in schedule and costs, achieving fit-for-purpose project completion within specification and to the highest HSE standards.
Prior to joining CWP, Reda worked at Jacobs Engineering for three years where as a project engineer he has been involved in African fertilizer program, slurry pipeline flexibility and chemical pipe-racks revamping. He has also been a construction manager at Ingérop where he has been charged of Renault extension project and Onomo Kigali hotel in Rwanda.

Reneta joined CWP in October 2022 holding the role of Senior GIS and Cartography Expert with 12 years of experience in the field of Cartography and Geodatabases production, data analysis, Photogrammetry and LiDAR data processing.
Reneta has a Master’s degree in Geodesy (geodetic engineer) - with a specialty in Global Navigation Satellite System and network (GNSS/GPS) from the University of Architecture, Civil engineering and Geodesy in Sofia. She is now completing her second Master’s degree in GIS and Cartography in Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

Sergei Yabrotskiy

Head of Legal Department, Ukraine

Sergei began his career in 2009, working as a lawyer in the district department of the state employment service. Further he held similar positions in the Specialized tax inspection of Mykolayiv Oblast and Security Service Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Mykolayiv Oblast.
Since 2014 he worked as a lawyer in the legal department of "Wind Parks of Ukraine", being responsible for the legal support of development, construction, commissioning and operation of wind power plants in Mykolayiv Oblast.
Since 2018, he supported the development and obtaining permits procedures for the construction of the Dnepro-Bugsky wind power station with a capacity of 110 MW in Kherson Oblast. In 2020 he received an attorney’s certificate.
He joined the CWP Global team in July 2021 as the head of the legal department in the Ukrainian service company.
Sergei has significant experience in the field of wind energy, he is actively involved in the process of development and commissioning, as well as operational activities. He considers himself a responsible and purposeful person, while being a team player. In his free time, he likes to play sports, travel, read books.

Simeon Todorov

Financial Analyst

Simeon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Surrey. As part of his studies, Simeon spent time on an exchange program at the University of Hong Kong.
After graduating Simeon started working as a Securities Trader at a Sofia-based independent wealth management company, where he was involved in the trading of various types of securities for the ETFs and client portfolios managed by the company. Simeon then gained experience as a Portfolio Manager at an asset management company, where he performed various roles in the portfolio management process of some of the largest institutional investors in Bulgaria – from portfolio analysis and formulation of capital market expectations to preparation of investment recommendations and trade execution.
Simeon is a CFA charterholder. He is also an Investment Consultant and Investment Broker licensed by the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission.

Stephan Zerling

Director of Infrastructure & Execution

Stephan joined CWP in August 2022, with more than 14 years of international experience in the Renewable Energy industry.
Prior to joining CWP, Stephan was working for General Electric (GE) as Global Tendering Leader Onshore Wind International. During that assignment, he was heading a worldwide team of proposal managers, logistic and site assessment experts, supporting the sales and commercial teams to structure, budget, schedule and close new projects of various scopes, including full EPC turnkey.
In previous roles at GE, Stephan was successfully negotiating and closing wind turbine sale agreements for projects across Europe, both technically and commercially. Until 2008, Stephan served as an officer in the German Army for 12 years, including an assignment to Bosnia during a peace keeping mission. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from University of German Federal Armed Forces in Munich and holds a M.Sc. degree in Management from University of Hagen.

Tanja Matijević

ESG Specialist

Tanja Matijević is an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Specialist for CWP Global.
Understanding the effects of ecological changes on the world has been Tanja’s zest since childhood. During exploratory visits to the forest with her father, she developed a natural awareness of preserving and protecting nature. Naturally, she started her working career as a project assistant at the Department of Ecology, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia.
Her search for new challenges led her to the corporate world, and she entered the mining company as an ESHC officer doing her best to mitigate the impact on the environment and communities. After finishing her Master’s in Environmental Science at Aegean University, Greece, she joined her skills and as a scuba diving instructor, she worked toward marine environment protection and the establishment of diving parks in Greece.
Filling an urge to be involved in so-called ‘one of the biggest humanitarian crises in a new era’, her work is credited with designing and setting into motion the “Introduction and Implementation of Waste Management and Recycling in the Biggest Refugee Camp in Europe” with 24,000 residents from the Middle East on Lesvos Island, Greece.

After a few years as an administrative specialist, she felt passionate to find a place with a greater sense of purpose thus she aligned with the company’s vision, goals and team values.
After gaining more experience in Finance and Administration at the end of 2021, she gradually transferred to the position of Finance and Administration Assistant. Her role mainly consists of supporting the processes within the department.

Teodora has started at CWP in September 2022 as Finance, Administration and Operation Assistant. Specializing in Accounting and Finance, Teodora has obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Coventry University, UK. She brings valuable experience from her prior role as Capital Administrator in one of the biggest utilities companies in the UK.
Teodora will be dealing with different tasks for the Hydrogen Business and taking responsibility for correspondence and preparation of contracts and will be liaising with our partners regarding payments processing.
As an active sociable individual, Teodora enjoys staying fit and going to gym. She also likes to keep her mind awareness up to date with a good developing mind book. Last but not least, Teodora loves cooking and baking, which helps her to take a mental break from everyday life.

Tijana Armanda

Reporting Analyst

Tijana holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Economics. She had spent a little over 4 years at PwC Serbia, where she accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in the field of audit and financial reporting, mainly in oil and gas industry.
In the beginning of her path in CWP Global she started as a Financial Reporting Analyst but was also included in the alignment of Management and Financial Reporting. She found very interesting the connection between Management and Financial Reporting. Currently, she is a Reporting Analyst dealing with both Financial and Management Reporting to connect knowledge and have "bigger picture".
In her free time, Tijana likes to spend time with her dog, friends, and family, watch Netflix and travel.

Tsvetomir Angelov

GIS and Cartography Expert

Tsvetomir joined CWP in October 2022 as an Expert in GIS and Cartography. He has obtained his Bachelor's degree in Regional Development and Policy and his Master's degree in GIS and Cartography from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He has also spent one semester as an exchange student in the University of Lille, France.
Prior to joining CWP, Tsvetomir has been an intern at Sofiaplan, where he participated in the process of creating the Plan for Integrated Development of Sofia municipality (2021 - 2027) and prepared some of the thematic maps available on the enterprise's interactive website.
In his free time Tsvetomir likes playing and studying chess, spending time with family and friends, learning foreign languages and doing sports. He is currently focused on developing advanced programming skills with Python as well as gaining fundamental knowledge and practical experience with data engineering, analytics and visual storytelling.

Tsvetomira Hristova

Financial Controller

Tsvetomira has joined CWP Global as a Financial Controller. After graduating from Sofia University with an Economics degree, Tsvety started her career as an auditor at KPMG Bulgaria, where she worked on a variety of engagements, mostly focusing on financial institutions. She then moved on to becoming Country Financial Controller of the Bularian branch of Citi Bank, where she handled all things finance, as well as regulatory reporting. Tsvety is currently in the process of getting her ACCA qualification.
When she is not working or studying, Tsvety loves training her stubborn dog, exploring new hiking trails and camping. She also enjoys watching football (if her team is winning) and playing tennis.

Vesela Tsifudina-Georgieva

Billing and Payments Specialist

Vesela has started her career as аn Assistant in Logistic Department at Kros-3 Ltd. She decided to change her professional focus and in 2020 started a new role as Senior Payments Specialist at SM Digital Holding Ltd. Prior to that, she has spent over seven years at Raiffeisen Bank Bulgaria EAD as a Customer Support Specialist, and was later promoted to Senior Specialist POS monitoring and card payments processing. In 2022 she joined CWP, executing the role of Billing and Payments Specialist. She holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Relations from the Academy of Economics “Dimitar A. Tsenov”. In her spare time, she enjoys watching old movies, reading books and spending time with her family.

Veselka Lafchiyska

Administrative Coordinator & Department Assistant

Veselka joined CWP team in September 2022 as an Administrative Coordinator & Department Assistant.
She graduated from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) at City, University of London with a Bachelor degree in Finance. After finishing her education, she returned to Bulgaria to pursue her career. Veselka believes that the combination between good education and hard work are the key to success.
Her hobby is folklore dancing. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, going hiking, reading and traveling.

Vladimir Krumov

Global Renewables Resource Assesment Manager

Vladimir has over 13 years of experience in renewables and has worked on projects totaling over 15GW. He has a passion to push boundaries and has spent most of his career working on new and emerging markets and technologies.

Prior to joining CWP, he was a Senior Wind Analyst and Project Manager for Mott MacDonald providing technical advisory for some of the landmark projects in Thailand, the Philippines and Mongolia. Later with E.ON/RWE he was initially evaluating and managing innovation projects and then exploring new and emerging markets and project opportunities informing the company strategic expansion.

Physicist by education, his core technical expertise is wind resource assessment and flow modelling. He has led over 100 met mast measuring campaigns, and participated in innovation projects studying wake interaction and optimization, exploring the limits of remote sensing technology and developing improvements in modelling and energy yield assessment techniques.

Vladimir graduated as a BSc in Physics at Sofia University in 2006 and is now completing his MSc in Energy Markets and Services.

M.Sc.Eng. Vladimir Tsonev

Project Engineer

Vladimir has experience in construction projects for 15 years and participated in large scale infrastructure and industrial projects. He joined the CWP development team in April 2021 for the wind projects in Bulgaria.
Vladimir possesses master’s degree of Engineering of Transport Infrastructure in the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia, Bulgaria and he also completed master’s degree in Financial Management in the University of National and World Economics, Sofia, Bulgaria.
In his outside work life, he is father of three little girls, and he knows in detail the story lines of all Disney movies about princesses. When unleashed, Vladimir is a true legend of the domestic ice-hockey beer league and keeps practicing prevention how the puck not to hit the net behind him.

Yana Krasteva

Executive Assistant

Yana joined CWP in October 2021 and she is currently an Executive Assistant to the CEO of CWP Europe. Her role is to manage his schedule and to organize corporate events and business trips. She also provides support with the CSR initiatives and deals with various administrative tasks.
Yana graduated from the Birmingham City University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Event, Venue and Experience Management. Prior to joining CWP, she has successfully organized both virtual and physical events. She has also been engaged with events’ budgeting, marketing campaigns and worked on extensive research in consumer psychology.
Outside of work, Yana enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, doing Pilates and loves looking after her plants.

Yevgen Bezsonov

Environmental expert, Ukraine

Yevhen is an environmental expert. He has been working in the field of environmental protection since 2014. His career began in one of the seaports of the Mykolaiv. His main responsibilities were compliance with environmental legislation at production sites and in structural units, obtaining permits and monitoring their status.
Then he worked for several years at the Department of Ecology of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis in the sphere of environmental security. Yevhen took part in the implementation of two environmental projects financed by European funds and aimed at the rational use of water resources. He is an author of several scientific articles dedicated to ecosystem energy, ecosystem services, environmental security and sustainable development.
Since 2015, Yevhen has been a member of the All-Ukrainian Ecological League. When possible, he takes part in the ecological life of the city and the region.
Yevhen began working in the field of development of renewable energy projects in 2019.
He joined the CWP Global team as an environmental expert in August 2021.
His mottos: "If there is no road, there is always a direction" and "Perseverance wins" Outside of work, he likes active pastime with his family and friends, he is fond of studying nature, farming and repairing various equipment.

Yordan Kamdzhilov

Financial Reporting Manager

Yordan is a seasoned finance professional with over 10 years of experience as an external auditor at the assurance practice of one of the BIG4 companies. There he was overseeing different teams and all aspects of the audit engagements, dealing with some of the most complex clients and cases. He was also responsible for the transition to a globally deployed audit platform as well as for the digitalization and processes' optimization of the local audit practice. Part of his sectors’ expertise includes Telecommunications, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Metal and Mining.
Yordan is in process of becoming a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Project Management Professional and a member of Project Management Institute (PMI).
Outside of work, Yordan loves reading, learning, travelling, doing most sports, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Zoran Radosavljević

Project Developer

Zoran joined CWP in 2010 as Office Manager and gradually build his knowledge and experience in the filed of corporate administration and finance. From 2012 he was responsible for administrative work related to the company’s internal needs and for successful relations with suppliers, contractors and clients. Beside this, Zoran was maintaining relations with banks, state authorities and internal auditors. He has a proven ability to ensure that day to day work is carried out in line with the agreed policies and quality standards.

Since January 2023, Zoran has been an integral part of our Project Development Team in Serbia. His passion for clean energy and sustainable development has been evident in his contributions to various projects within the company.

In his free time Zoran loves to hike in nature, play basketball, and spend time with his family and friends.

Zornitsa Minkovska

Management Reporting Analyst

Zornitsa has started her career as a Private Equity Analyst at The Burgiss Group examining private capital partnership financials. She then transferred her focus to management reporting in the role of Associate Business Planning Analyst at IBM where her main involvement was in strategy financial planning and variance analysis between actuals vs. forecasts. After spending two years there she decided to align her career path with her passion for sustainability and in 2020 joined CWP. Zornitsa holds a degree in Business Administration with Minors in Information Systems and Economics from the American University in Bulgaria.

Outside work, Zornitsa loves to keep herself physically active, enjoys hiking, experimenting in the kitchen with new, eccentric recipes, and reading.
